Uni Footy Club Training Off February 1-5 Due To Lockdown

*Statement via Perth Football League

As per the Western Australian State Government’s announcement, the areas of Greater Perth, Peel and the South-West will be in lockdown from 6pm Sunday 31st January until 6pm Friday 5th February.

This means that all football clubs and umpiring groups in these affected areas cannot hold training sessions, gym sessions or hold face-to-face meetings during this period. It is imperative that all football stakeholders strictly adhere to the lockdown requirements set out by the WA Government.

University Football Club therefore will not hold training sessions at the club during this period. Resumption of training will depend on WA State Government rules and the conclusion of the lockdown.

It also means the WAFC offices, where Perth Football League staff operate from, will be closed. However, all Perth Football League staff will be working remotely and able to answer your queries, particularly with player transfers opening.

Whilst we will continue to provide updates at www.perthfootball.com.au, the football community is also urged to remain informed via the following key sources of information:

WA Government Department of Health

Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our football participants and the wider community that we are all a part of, and this will remain at the forefront of all decision making.
