Andrew Browne Steps Down As A-Grade Coach

The University Football Club today wishes to thank A-Grade coach Andrew Browne for his service after he informed the club he will not continue coaching the side next year.

Ex-Fremantle Dockers midfielder Browne joined Uni as A-Grade coach in 2016 and guided the side to the 2019 Perth Football League premiership with a 17-point Grand Final win over CBC.

Browne led University to the A-Grade minor premiership in his first season in charge in 2016, guiding the side to the finals in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, when they claimed the ultimate prize.

The club once again thanks Browne for his outstanding level of commitment and high standards achieved during his five-year stint in charge of the A-Grade side and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The club has immediately commenced its search for a replacement. If anyone knows of any willing participants that would like to coach A-Grade next year, please contact club president Dwayne Lake Dwayne.lake@hotmail.com.
